History

Tibet Airlines operating with IATA (TV) and ICAO (TBA) was first established in 2010. The airline runs under the management of Tibet Airlines Co Ltd. Across the years, Tibet Airlines always tries its best to receive a position as one of the favored airlines in the future. This airline was first commenced on 26-07-2011. Tibet Airlines has been awarded The first airline based in the High Plateau Airport,The first airline to operate a high altitude route on the first flight and The first airline to operate an airline using RNP technology. Today, the airline has successfully reached 60 routes on 1 September 2019,30 fleet on 1 September 2019.

Tibet Airlines cabin crew wears a uniform in china blue and china red. For male flight attendants, they wear blue traditional shirt with blue trousers. For female flight attendants, they wear china blue or china red blazer and hat, scarf with a stripe pattern in blue, yellow, red and skirt with a stripe pattern in blue, yellow, red. Apart from a beautifully made uniform, Tibet Airlines cabin crew always put the passenger and their experience on the forefront.

Airport Check-in

Check-in counters for Tibet Airlines opens 180 minutes prior to the departure time. You are advised to check in at least one and a half hours before the check in and baggage drop counter at the airport closes.

Introduction

Tibet Airlines (TV) is a full flight airline operating domestic & international routes. The airline gives the passenger with a cabin baggage allowance of 5 kg and maximum dimension of 20 cm x 40 cm x 55 cm (L x W x H). The international route ticket fare includes free checked baggage allowance of 23 kg while the domestic route flight ticket fare includes checked baggage allowance of 20 kg. Passenger can start checking in at the airport 180 minutes prior to the flight departure time. Online check in is possible for flights with the airline on Tibet Airlines official website page. It can be done 1 days before flight departure time.
