Mahan Air which operates with IATA code (W5) and ICAO code IRM, is a full flight airline that flies domestic & international routes. The airline serves flights to destinations all over the world from its main hub located in Tehran Mehrabad International Airport (THR) and Tehran Imam Khomeini International Airport (IKA). Although the airline operates using the name Mahan Air, it is the trade name for Mahan Air. The company is lead by the CEO, Hamid Arabnejad. The head office for the airline is located in Iran.

History

Mahan Air which operates with IATA (W5) and ICAO (IRM) is managed by Mahan Air. The airline was first established in 1991. Throughout the years, Mahan Air intends to serve their customers through the services it offers. The first ever flight route was Tehran - Kerman using Tupolev Tu-154M. Mahan Air has been awarded Best carrier serving Iran in 2005 and Best airline to Iran in 2006. The milestone that has been obtained by the airline is In 1996, Mahan Air carried its one million passengers for the first time. In 1999, the airline introduced the First A300. In 2001, Mahan Air began began services to Far East routes, with its new Airbus A310. On the 10-year anniversary since the operation, Mahan Air has exceeded 5 million people boarding. In 2005, Mahan Air took delivery of its first of four Airbus A320. In 2006, Mahan Air carried 10 million passengers. In 2016, Mahan Air launched online check-in service through the website, and start launched for international flights from Imam Khomeini airport at the next year.

Flight Attendant

Mahan Air cabin crew wears a uniform that is dominated by black and white. For male flight attendants, they wear white long sleeve with black suit with black trousers. The design itself was perfectly laid out, making the crew look more refined.

Mahan Air (W5) is a full flight airline operating domestic & international routes. The cabin baggage allowance given by this airline is 5 kg and maximum size of 55 cm x 40 cm x 23 cm (L x W x H). The passengers flying international route with Mahan Air will get checked baggage allowance of 30 kg, while the domestic flight passengers is provided with 20 kg.
